The mission of Project BRAVE is to: Implement comprehensive prevention education surrounding power-based interpersonal violence, provide individual support for campus survivors, and create a community where violence prevention is everyone’s responsibility. Power-based interpersonal violence includes (but is not limited to): rape, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and other forms of sexual misconduct.
Project BRAVE has six goals:
1. Create a coordinated community response team
2. Implement mandatory prevention education
3. Provide training for all campus law enforcement
4. Provide training to judicial boards
5. Create a network of SANE-trained nurses
6. Enhance survivor support services
